I love to sing, but I’m not much of a singer. I really cannot carry a tune, and apart from singing during worship or in the shower, it’s better for me to just not sing for others. Maybe you’re like me. Or maybe you’re completely opposite, and people want to hear you sing. Regardless of where you find yourself, there is one thing we have in common: in the gospel of Jesus Christ, we’re all called to a grand and glorious choir. Revelation 7 gives us a glimpse of what will happen in heaven—the Lord God of the Universe shows us that we will be singing “Salvation belongs to our God who sits on the throne, and to the Lamb!” (Revelation 7:10) We will be singing, together, to the glory of God.
But for now, our call is to gather singers for the choir. We are called to share the gospel of Jesus Christ so that many will know and believe in the one true God who promises forgiveness of sin and life eternal. At Neighborhoods & Nations this March, we are looking to be stirred in this mission to gather the choir. We want to be stirred to reach our neighborhoods, to be sent to the nations and to see many know Jesus. Please register for the conference here. We want to see you in Glen Mills and experience God together.
One day, all those found in Christ, will be before the throne and with one voice declare: “Blessing and glory and wisdom and thanksgiving and honor and power and might be to our God forever and ever! Amen.” (Revelation 7:12) Let’s be inspired together to see the multitudes join the choir—join us March 8-10, 2016! But, first, watch this video from Rich Richardson where he describes this calling to gather singers for the choir.
